Hebrew College is dedicated to the principle that rigorous, pluralistic Jewish education is essential to building and sustaining a vibrant Jewish community. Not affiliated with any Jewish denomination, Hebrew College was founded in 1921 and is located in Newton Centre, Massachusetts.

The college offers a bachelor’s completion program, graduate degrees in Jewish education and Jewish studies, rabbinical and cantorial ordination programs, as well as classes for adult learning and youth education.

Central to the school's curriculum is the mastery of Hebrew, the language of classical and modern texts. The college offers a multifaceted and comprehensive Hebrew language program on campus and online, both for beginners and advanced students.

The school has a partnership with Lesley University in Boston and collaborates on offering a Doctor of Education degree from Lesley with a specialization in Jewish educational leadership.

The school is located on nearly 7 acres on a hillside in Newton Centre, MA, adjacent to Andover Newton Theological School. Public transportation to Boston is available a short walk away at the Newton Center trolley stop on the Green Line.
