Northern Essex Community College is a state-supported, two-year college, located in Haverhill, MA. It offers comprehensive academic programs of study, leading to an associate degree or certificate of completion.

The college provides a wide variety of classes in more than 70 degree and certificate programs, including business, communications, computer and information sciences, education, health sciences, criminal justice, paralegal, deaf studies and more. The programs are designed to prepare students for a transfer to a four-year college or to enter the workforce.

The college also offers developmental courses in writing, math, and English as a second language to prepare students for college-level work.  It also offers noncredit programs for career advancement or personal enrichment

The school is located on a rural 106-acre Haverhill campus and a campus in Lawrence.
