Going Out in Boston

ConcertBU245x163There is no shortage of nightlife in Boston. On top of the many choices of restaurant, there is an abundance of clubs and bars everywhere. You will find comedy clubs, dance clubs and jazz and blues clubs. The center of the local live-music universe is Central Square in Cambridge. College bars and clubs concentrate near the intersection of Harvard and Brighton avenues in Allston which makes club-hopping easy.  Many clubs are near the theater district and on nearby Boylston place.  Take the T and try The Bear's Place and the Middle East. How about roof-top bars?  There are more than a dozen of them. Try Legal's Harborside with a view of the harbor or the Rattlesnake Bar in the middle of Boylston street's comedy clubs and dance clubs. If you like salsa dancing, try the Havana club.
