Founded in 1904, Wentworth Institute of Technology is a technology focused college in Boston.  It offers 17 majors in architecture, computer science, design, engineering and management and it grants associate,  bachelor's, master's degrees and post-graduate certificates in full-time and part-time study programs. Its most popular programs are in engineering and business. 

The school is distinguished by its high-quality classroom instruction and its practical application of technology through extensive laboratory and studio training. As a fundamental part of a Wentworth education, students complete two cooperative education semesters in work placements anywhere in the world. These two mandatory co-op semesters are designed to prepare students to enter the work-force or graduate studies.

The school's campus spreads over 35 acres in the Fenway area of Boston which is a short walk from many cultural and entertainment choices. The MBTA Green Line provides light-rail mass transit service to the Boston area.
