Wellesley College is a private women's liberal-arts college in the town of Wellesley, Massachusetts. Founded in 1870, the college is consistently ranked among the top 10 liberal arts colleges in the United States. 

The college gives their students many options in tailoring their majors, offering 32 majors, as well as 22 interdepartmental majors. The college’s full-engagement academic philosophy extends to the running of the college itself. The student voice is central to decision-making and students serve on major committees of the Board of Trustees, participate in faculty search, and contribute to strategic planning.

In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers an impressive variety of educational opportunities, like international studies and internships and programs with other colleges. Students participate in a wide range of extracurricular projects, and the college offers hundreds of local internships and advocacy programs in the surrounding communities.

Wellesley fields 14 varsity sports teams – basketball, crew, cross-country, fencing, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, squash, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

The college is known for the picturesque beauty of its 500-acre campus located in Wellesley, MA.  Free shuttle buses are provided to local destinations, Boston and the subway (MBTA) station nearby.
